on the coldest day of october, (i.e. yesterday) we saw the latest advert. shoot for burberry near yellow wave --
all those trucks were needed for something --
btw, is there a WIFI link near-by for a laptop? yellow wave say one can use the wifi at their cafe (if using the cafe), but will it reach to the chalets with a price negotiation?
or is it banned under the terms of the lease?

new paint, new web-site (soon)

lovely day for a paint job -- Brewers showed me the Albany range of colours as specified in the Official Door Colours: neither Brighton Blue (BS480014 C35 a.k.a. Jade) or Cream (BS10 C31 a.k.a. Tusk) seems to taste right, so I got Seafront Blue, as previously used -- the municipal  trade mark for the railings for Brighton.
Now scrape, rub and frotter is the order of the day..........unless, the mackerel calls........

letter dated 1st June from Seafront Surveyor: time for re-paint with the mild threat "I will be visiting your chalet in a month's time to examine it again."
No date or time specified, ergo no invite to inspect together.....

rumors of a proposal to change the lease (eg long-term tenants (i.e. 10 yrs +) to be evicted with 2 yrs notice== reason: let others enjoy) have yet to be substantiated.....
i have asked for this to be scotched, but no reply yet either by e-mail or phone 290568.............
